Introductions.

Welcome! If you have got this far, I’m sure you are possibly curious about who we are, what we do, why we are named after a random assortment of numbers or why there is a musical sommelier choice to pair with this blog.

First things first, my name is Kwamena, and I am the Founder and Director of +TwoThreeThree. We are an interdisciplinary Architecture practice based in the South East of England and we specialise in simply asking the question “Why not?”

Our manifesto, found on our website, isn’t simply a rallying call to be disruptors, but was born out of the sheer confidence my eldest daughter has in everything that I do. As adults we constantly check and recheck our self confidence and benchmark against our peers. On paper this works, but is many cases it can end up being a race to the bottom or create a ‘crabs in a barrel’ mentality. My eldest daughter (who is 5 at the time of writing this) simply believes that I am superman, and can do know wrong and has no failings. Before I get ahead of myself, that is not how I see myself – many years of industry and life experience has given me a humility to know where my limitations lie. This, however, is not how +TwoThreeThree operates. We believe in excellence and we believe in doing everything we can to achieve it, within the frameworks available. There is no project we will not look at and no scale too big or small. We temper this with an understanding that collaboration is key in what we do. We are able to scale our team to suit projects with modest budgets to multi-million pound projects.

In the spirit of collaboration, we find that working inside and outside our industry allows us to tailor a project that is truly bespoke to each client. If you have not put on the accompanying track, I would encourage you to pause here, find the track, and play it.
